James Murphy shares ‘We Used To Dance’ track from ‘While We’re Young’ soundtrack
LCD man has penned original compositions for the Noah Baumbach film.
James Murphy has been given the role of scoring the 14-track soundtrack for Noah Baumbach comedy, ‘While We’re Young’.
Bringing together Murphy’s own compositions, a David Bowie edit, plus tracks from HAIM and Paul McCartney, the first of the LCD frontman’s original tracks has been unveiled. ‘We Used To Dance’ is a strung out, pensive instrumental piece that gradually builds into a wall of synth.
The full soundtrack comes out next week, 24th March in North America, via Milan Records. ‘While We’re Young’ itself - starring Ben Stiller and Naomi Watts - comes out 27th March in US theaters. Check out the full tracklist above ‘We Used To Dance’. Plus watch a trailer.
