Jon Hopkins has remixed Daniel Avery’s ‘Glitter’
It comes ahead of the pair heading out on a US tour together this week.
Jon Hopkins is due to set out on a US tour later this week, with support from Daniel Avery on his tour dates in Chicago, Toronto, Montreal, Los Angeles and San Francisco; in celebration of the shows, Jon has shared a remix of Daniel Avery’s ‘Glitter’.
On the track, Jon takes the celestial elements of the song - which is taken from Daniel’s album ‘Song For Alpha’, released earlier this year - and adds his own heavy, bass-filled layers onto the original track. You can listen to it below.
Jon Hopkins’ new album ‘Singularity’, which we called “varied and consistently compelling” in our review - was released back in May. He performed some of the album’s tracks live in session for the BBC back in June.
