The Radiohead member’s new album is a collaboration with Israeli composer Shye Ben Tzur.
Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood is streaming his new album ‘Junun’ in full ahead of release.
Produced by frequent Radiohead collaborator Nigel Godrich, ‘Junun’ was recorded in India this year, with Israeli composer Shye Ben Tzur, and local musicians. The sessions were filmed for Paul Thomas Anderson’s upcoming documentary of the same name.
Greenwood previously revealed that the album was written at the Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur, with local musicians specialising in Rajasthani traditional music. “We’ve been living here for nearly three weeks and recording an album here, in the fort,” he told Indian newspaper The Sunday Guardian.
Stream Jonny Greenwood’s ‘Junun’ below. It’s out on November 20th.
