Jonny Greenwood is preparing to release a new soundtrack.
The Radiohead guitarist has scored Lynne Ramsay’s latest mystery-thriller, ‘You Were Never Really Here’, with the soundtrack itself coming out on 9th March through Invada Records/ Lakeshore Records.
The film itself stars Joaquin Phoenix as a traumatised veteran who tracks down missing girls for a living. One of his jobs then spirals out of control, leading his nightmares to take over and a conspiracy to be uncovered.
Jonny’s also been nominated for an Oscar for his soundtrack for Paul Thomas Anderson’s latest ‘Phantom Thread’. He’s up against the scores for ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri’, ‘The Shape of Water’, ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ and ‘Dunkirk’. Meanwhile, Sufjan Stevens has been nominated in the category of Best Original Song. Both of them are set to attend the awards ceremony.
