Justice return with ‘Randy’
Their new album ‘Woman’ comes out later this year.
It’s been a whole five years since Justice released their neo-prog monster ‘Audio, Visual, Disco’ but the wait for a new album is (almost) over. After sharing a new song ‘Safe and Sound’ earlier in the summer, the French duo teased the artwork for new LP ‘Woman’ yesterday. It’s set to come out sometime in mid-November.
They’ve even shared a new taste of what to expect from ‘Woman’ in the shape of ‘Randy.’ The track was premiered last night as Annie Mac’s Hottest Record in the World. Talking with Mac, Xavier De Rosnay said that ‘Randy’ “started off as an almost industrial techno track” before it morphed into the disco-light, sunny dance number it is now. De Rosnay says that listening to it is “like if you’re in the car with your best friend and your lover and your kids.” Clearly he’s never been stuck in traffic on the M25…
