Kelis Announces New Album, ‘Food’
Ninja Tune will release Kelis’ sixth album, produced by Dave Sitek.
Rogers has confirmed that her sixth album, titled ‘Food’, will be released via Ninja Tune on 28th April 2014.
TV On The Radio’s Dave Sitek has production credits. He’s been cited as working on the new album since the unveiling of free download ‘Jerk Ribs’ earlier this year.
‘This is the album I’ve wanted to make for a long time,’ Kelis states in a press release, citing her decision to work with Ninja Tune as one based on teaming up with creative people.
Kelis’ last album was 2010’s ‘Flesh Tone’, which was recorded while she was unsigned, eventually gaining release on will.i.am records / Interscope.
