Kendrick Lamar has announced initial details of a tour in support of his recent ‘To Pimp A Butterfly’ album.
‘Kunta’s Groove Sessions’ is set to take in eight cities over eight nights, with the shows promised to be “intimate”.
The tour poster that Kendrick shared on Instagram, which you can view below, bills the tour as the “1st annual” event of its kind. It will be the first proper tour - not including the smattering of festival dates the rapper has played this year - in support of ‘To Pimp A Butterfly’.
No details regarding dates or cities for the tour have been revealed, though it’s assumed to be a US tour.
Despite not fully touring the album yet, Lamar has been giving songs from ‘…Butterfly’ a run-out live, most recently playing a medley of four tracks from the album on American telly.
Kendrick ended his summer with huge sub-headline sets at Reading and Leeds festivals. Read the DIY verdict on the Reading show here.
