Kendrick Lamar to be Stephen Colbert’s first guest on The Late Show
Colbert takes over from David Letterman next month.
On 8th September, Stephen Colbert takes over from David Letterman as host of CBS’ The Late Show.
Following up Letterman’s legacy, Colbert will start things off by inviting Kendrick Lamar on board as the first musical guest. According to Variety, the show will also see George Clooney appearing for an interview.
Kendrick was the final musical guest on The Colbert Report last year. He performed an untitled song that never made the cut for ‘To Pimp a Butterfly’, and it was reportedly penned the day before he appeared on the show. Perhaps it’ll get another outing when September arrives.
