Kendrick Lamar gets interrogative in the video for ‘DNA.’

Still totally hyped about ‘DAMN.’ after Kendrick debuted songs from the new album at Coachella on the weekend? That’s okay, because Mr. Lamar has gifted us with another visual gem from the record. After getting Biblical in the epic video for ‘HUMBLE.’ he’s recruited esteemed Hollywood actor Don Cheadle (aka Iron Man’s best mate) to star in his latest clip for ‘DNA.’ Don doesn’t seem that impressed with Kendrick at first though. “Kendrick Lamar. Two First names, huh, the fuck is up with that?” he asks. Don tries to turn on a lie detector test but straight away he’s channelling all the fire bars that Kendrick spits on the track. They trade lines, but it all gets a bit much. In the end, Kendrick calmly walks away, patting Don on the back before he passes out (pretty sure he’s okay, don’t worry). Accompanied by his crew – including fellow rapper Schoolboy Q – Kendrick then drives off into the night. Watch the video for ‘DNA.’ below.
