‘Kid A’ Guitar, Signed By Radiohead, Being Auctioned For Charity

A Fender Telecaster guitar, previously owned and used by Ed O’Brien, has been donated by Radiohead to raise money for the Billie Butterfly Fund.

The guitar was used on both ‘Kid A’ and ‘Amnesiac’, and is signed by Ed himself, Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, Colin Greenwood and Phil Selway.

It even comes with a handwritten authenticity note, which reads:

‘To whoever ends up with this Tele…
It was bought in the summer of ‘98, just prior to us going into record the albums which came out as Kid A and Amnesiac. It was pretty much the only guitar I used at that time. It’s also been gigged a lot, up until and including the In Rainbows tour.
Hope you enjoy it - all the best
Ed O’Brien’

The guitar is currently being auctioned on eBay (click here to have a look), and with nine days left has a high bid of £1,500.
