King Krule makes surprise appearance with Mount Kimbie in Paris

Punters at Mount Kimbie’s recent show in Paris got an unexpected treat when fellow South Londoner King Krule made a surprise appearance at the city’s Trianon.

Sneaking on stage last month with the help of a ludicrous curly wig, King Krule performed ‘You Took Your Time’ (from Mount Kimbie’s 2013 album ‘Cold Spring Fault Less Youth’) and ‘Blue Train Lines’ from their most recent record ‘Love What Survives’. Archy Marshall features as a guest on both songs.

The whole thing originally stemmed from a text exchange between the long-time pals when Mount Kimbie realised King Krule would be in Paris at the same time as them. The disguise, if you’re wondering, was Archy’s idea.
