Lana Del Rey cancels European appearances due to illness
LDR was set to play Radio 1’s Live Lounge.
Lana Del Rey has been forced to cancel all forthcoming European promotional appearances, due to illness.
MTV reports that several guest spots - including Radio 1’s Live Lounge - have been written off. Her label Polydor/Universal cites “medical reasons independent of our will,” stating that “the artist has been forced to cancel all promotional activities planned in Europe over the coming days.”
BBC Radio 1 confirmed yesterday that Del Rey would not be making an appearance, and DJ Zane Lowe added that a scheduled appearance at Maida Vale studios would no longer be taking place.
She’s still set to perform in the U.S. and Mexico this September, with a scheduled appearance at Atlanta’s Midtown festival due to take place on Friday 19th September.
Lana Del Rey’s ‘Ultraviolence’ album is out now.
