Lana Del Rey Hints At Dan Auerbach Production Role On ‘Ultraviolence’
The Black Keys member’s previously won the Grammy for Producer of the Year.

With ‘Ultraviolence”s details all a little rough around the edges, it’s foolish to take anything for granted at this stage. Saying that, if clues are gospel then it’s a record that’s coming out on May 1st and its executive producer is Dan Auerbach from The Black Keys.
The second of these assumptions came from a new picture uploaded to both Twitter and Instagram, with the caption stating: ‘Me and Dan Auerbach are excited to present you Ultraviolence.’
Auerbach’s previously picked up the Grammy for Producer of the Year (Non-Classical) in 2013. But his role in this record is interesting, considering he’s quoted as once saying:
‘On some level, we’ve seen that Lana Del Rey thing since we first started, like, all of a sudden this new band would be headlining festivals, and we’re like, ’Wait, how did they get that? We’ve been here for two, three, four, five years and we’re still working our way up. But then they’re gone. Just as quickly as they get up there, they disappear.’
We’re assuming they settled that dispute with a nice cup of tea.
