Lana Del Rey played shows in a Hollywood cemetery last weekend
The glitz of new album ‘Ultraviolence’ came full circle in Hollywood.
This past weekend, Lana Del Rey played the ultimate Lana Del Rey shows by performing in a Hollywood cemetery.
With songs on ‘Born to Die’ and ‘Ultraviolence’ finding ultimate misery in the price and glamour of fame, Hollywood Forever Cemetery stood out as the perfect location for a rare LDR appearance. It’s home to the graves of Johnny Ramone, amongst others.
Within these shows, Lana gave live debuts to songs from her recent 2014 LP. One of these was ‘Shades of Cool’, performed in smoky, palm tree-lined surroundings.
