Lana Del Rey To Re-Release Lizzy Grant Album
The singer has told the BBC she will release her ‘original’ debut album that was put out under birth name Lizzy Grant.

Lana Del Rey has said that she will re-release her debut album, originally put out under the name Lizzy Grant.
Speaking to the BBC, the singer said that she had bought back the rights to her original 2008 debut - released under her birth name Lizzy Grant, and recorded with producer David Kahne - and that the album would be getting a re-release, perhaps as early as this summer.
She said: ‘People act like it’s so shrouded in mystery, the ‘forgotten terrible album’.
The singer - who most recently had her song ‘Born To Die’ remixed by Blur frontman Damon Albarn - added that all 13 tracks were available to be heard on YouTube and had received ‘millions of views, so it’s not like no-one’s heard them.’
‘We were all proud of it. It’s pretty good,’ she said.
Debut album ‘Born To Die’ is released next Monday, 30th January.
