Leicestershire’s The Long Road Festival extends 2026 lineup

The Country, Americana and Roots event is returning for its seventh year this August bank hol weekend.

Leicestershire country festival The Long Road extends 2026 lineup with Emmylou Harris, The 502s, Jim Lauderdale and more

The Long Road has confirmed another slew of artists due to take to its Leicestershire stages this summer, including 14-time Grammy winner Emmylou Harris, Floridian folk faves (and “the happiest band on earth”) The 502s, and Nashville Songwriters Hall Of Fame member Jim Lauderdale.

Elsewhere on the bill, country fans will be treated to sets from Steve Earle (who’ll be delivering a special solo, acoustic performance), Canadian chart-topper Josh Ross, and rising star Zandi Holup, all of whom join a lineup topped by the fest’s previously announced headliner, Bailey Zimmerman.

Due to take place over August bank holiday weekend (27th-30th) in the stunning grounds of Stanford Hall, The Long Road 2026 will be the seventh instalment of the UK’s most authentic and immersive Country, Americana and Roots festival. What’s more, this year’s edition is shaping up to be the biggest yet, with a whole host of authentically American activites - from BBQ to line dancing and ‘Country-oke’ - available alongside the music.

Tickets for The Long Road 2026 are on sale now; find out more here, and remind yourself what went down at last year’s hoedown below.
