Leon Bridges ditches the black-and-white aesthetic for ‘Smooth Sailin’’ video
Full band get-together previews the ‘Coming Home’ album.

Texas newcomer Leon Bridges leads a grandly-assembled full band through new track ‘Smooth Sailin’’ in his latest video.
Unless everything else to his name, this new clip ditches the classic black-and-white aesthetic that Bridges has stuck to. Still, there’s a slick vintage feel, from the Fort Worth resident’s shuffling dance moves to his old school musical approach.
‘Smooth Sailin’’ is taken from the debut album ‘Coming Home’, out 22nd June on Sony Columbia. Pre-order here.

Leon Bridges will play Latitude (16th-19th July), where DIY is an official media partner. Tickets are on sale now. Visit diymag.com/presents for more information.
