Confirmed:
Liam Gallagher confirms that ‘As You Were’ is out in October!
It’ll feature his latest single ‘Wall of Glass’.

A few weeks back Number 1 Britpop lad (don’t tell Noel) and
general Mancunian legend Liam Gallagher unveiled his brand new single ‘Wall of Glass’.
Following the disbanding of both Beady Eye and a little
known, not particularly successful group called Oasis, at the time of
announcing the single he also announced that his new album would be called ‘As
You Were’. Now we’ve got a couple more details about the record – hurrah! It’s
due to be released on 6th October through Warner Brothers and it’s been
produced by Dan Grech-Marguerat and Greg Kustin.
As reported by Stereoboard, Liam said of the album: “I
didn’t want to be reinventing anything or going off on a space jazz odyssey.
It’s the Lennon ‘Cold Turkey’ vibe, The Stones, the classics. But done my way,
now”. Gotcha Liam – immense rock riffs all the way then! Expect to hear some of
them when he plays a little festival called Glastonbury and Reading & Leeds
over the summer…
