Oasis confirm Cast as opener for Live ‘25 reunion shows
All 19 of the band’s UK and Ireland tour dates sold out immediately.

Oasis have confirmed that they’ll be joined by Cast as well as Richard Ashcroft as special guests for all of their forthcoming Live ‘25 reunion shows in the UK and Ireland.
In case you (somehow) missed it, the iconic Britpop band announced their hugely-anticipated return this Summer, 15 years after they split up following a backstage fight between brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher at Paris’ Rock en Seine Festival in 2009.
Having recently celebrated the 30th anniversary of their seminal debut album ‘Definitely Maybe’, Oasis will play 19 huge stadium shows around the UK and Ireland next year, all of which sold out immediately after going on sale (leaving many fans dissatisfied about the controversial dynamic pricing system that was used).
’90s stalwarts Cast will open all 19 UK and Ireland reunion shows, having recently supported Liam on his ‘Definitely Maybe’ arena tour. Speaking about the announcement, Cast frontman John Power (formerly of The La’s) has said: “I’ve known Noel and Liam all through the years, we go way back. It’s been some ride, some journey. [Their music] inspired me as songwriter, it blew the whole scene open like nothing before and it reached way beyond the stratosphere.”
Meanwhile, Richard Ashcroft - a firm favourite of many Oasis fans - will act as second support for the nationwide run. Having made his name as the frontman of ’90s contemporaries The Verve before embarking on a solo career, Ashcroft has a longstanding shared history with the Gallaghers dating back to 1993: they’ve previously supported each other on tour, and Noel dedicated the ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?’ cut ‘Cast No Shadow’ to Ashcroft.
“As a fan from day one I was buzzing for many reasons when the news of Oasis’s return was announced,” Ashcroft has said of the support slot. “I can say with no exaggeration that the songwriting talent of Noel and Liam’s pure spirit as a lead singer helped to inspire me to create some of my best work. It was the perfection of ‘Live Forever’ that forced me to try and write my own. They dared to be great, made the dreams we had real and I will always remember those days with joy. Now it’s time to create more memories and I’m ready to bring it. See you next summer. Music is power.”
