Liam Gallagher announces new album ‘Why Me? Why Not’, shares ‘Shockwave’ video
He’s confirmed the release date for his ‘As You Were’ follow-up.

Liam Gallagher has announced details of his new album ‘Why Me? Why Not’. He’ll release the follow-up to his 2017 debut solo ‘As You Were’ is due for release on 20th September via Warner Records.
His second solo full-length was written in collaboration with producers Andrew Wyatt and Greg Kurstin, and recorded in Los Angeles and at London’s RAK Studios.
Speaking of the record, Liam has said: “I wrote some songs on my own for the last album, but this time it’s all co-writes. Reason being is I want it to be even better than ‘As You Were’. I know my strengths and I know my limitations. I’m an ok songwriter, but I’m a great singer and frontman. I want the second album to be a step-up because the hardest thing to do is to make something the same, only better. So that’s what we’ve done.”
Liam’s also shared the new video for his track ‘Shockwave’, as directed by François Rousselet. Watch the video below.
