Lightning Bolt return with new album ‘Fantasy Empire’
It’s the noise rock group’s first album in five years.
Noise rock group Lightning Bolt have confirmed plans to release their first album in five years.
Titled ‘Fantasy Empire’, it follows on from 2009 LP ‘Earthly Delights’ and 2012 EP ‘Oblivion Hunter’. The Rhode Island duo of Brian Chippendale and Brian Gibson have yet to announce any live dates.
The record’s due out on 24th March via Thrill Jockey. It’s available to pre-order via the label on a limited pressing of 300 2XLP deluxe edition, black-and-white swirl vinyl.
