Lime Garden return with new single ‘Nepotism (baby)’
The Brighton quartet have shared their first new music since last year’s ‘Bitter’.
Brighton quartet Lime Garden have returned with their first new music of 2023, in the form of whipsmart new single ‘Nepotism (baby)’.
The track - which comes produced by Ali Chant (Perfume Genius, PJ Harvey, Yard Act) - marks their first single since the release of ‘Bitter’ last October, and, according to the band’s Chloe Howard, “was written as a commentary on modern society, imagining my life as if I was someone born into fame. Writing the track gave me the feeling of being a teenager again, writing songs in my bedroom using three chords or less. The sound of this song pays homage to the beginnings of this band as four angsty teens who love guitars.”
Their new single lands ahead of a slew of festival appearances, including slots at Latitude, Y Not and Wilderness. Check out their upcoming live dates, and check out the video for ‘Nepotism (baby)’, below.
