Listen: Beck Remixes JJ DOOM’s ‘Banished’ Track

is one of a handful of really big names contributing to a new release, ‘Keys To The Kuff: Butter Edition’, released Stateside on 20th August via Lex.

The initial ‘Keys to the Kuff’ release from JJ DOOM (the collaborative project of Jneiro Jarel and MF DOOM) came out last year. Taking a lap of honour, the album’s gaining remixes from Thom Yorke, Clams Casino, Jonny Greenwood and, just in case another big name was required, Beck.

Hansen steers the ‘Banished”s original punch through some oddball abstract ideas, melting hip-hop sharpness into Beck’s strange self.
