Listen: Blood Orange’s Devonté Hynes Shares Title Track From ‘Palo Alto’ Score
NYC-based producer is scoring the new James Franco movie, out in May. It doesn’t get dreamier than this.

This May, the Gio Copolla movie adaptation of a story written by James Franco six years ago - ‘Palo Alto’ - is released in cinemas. Franco’s asked Dev Hynes aka Blood Orange to pen the score, and today he’s shared the beautiful ballad of a title track.
Also appearing on the soundtrack are songs from Mac DeMarco, and two Blood Orange tracks from last year’s ‘Cupid Deluxe’ EP. Technically the two other songs penned by Hynes are going under the name Devonté Hynes. There’s ‘Palo Alto’ and ‘April’s Daydream’, which is yet to be unveiled.
The soundtrack is released on 2nd June via Domino
