Bright Eyes unveil new song ‘One and Done’

It’s the latest glimpse into their forthcoming new album.

Following the release of previous singles ‘Persona Non Grata’ and ‘Forced Convalescence’, Bright Eyes are sharing the third glimpse into their upcoming new album, unveiling new track ‘One and Done’.

A beautifully melodic number, the track was written and recorded before the COVID-19 crisis, and eerily details the final days of a civilisation, as Conor Oberst sings, “This whole town looks empty, but we knew it wouldn’t last/ Behind bulletproof windows they’re still wiring the cash/ Whatever they could scrape up, whatever that they had/ there’s a lot of mouths to feed through this famine.”

Featuring Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Flea and Queens Of The Stone Age’s Jon Theodore as the rhythm section, alongside Miwi La Lupa on harmonies, listen to ‘One and Done’ below.
