Listen: Eugene McGuinness Streams New Full-Length

Eugene McGuinness is streaming his forthcoming second album in full - have a listen above. ‘The Invitation To The Voyage’ will be released on 6th August via Domino, and is set to include previously released singles ‘Thunderbolt’ and ‘Lion’.

Speaking to DIY about the record, McGuinness recently explained: ‘I wanted it to be a modern record. I didn’t want it to just be a rock and roll record. I didn’t want it to be a weird Shoreditch geezer-y thing. It took a while to realise what that sort of sound was going to be, but that was about embracing all of the things that are around at the moment, without making it be modern for the sake of being modern.’
