Listen to Franz Ferdinand cover Angel Olsen
They took on ‘Shut Up Kiss Me’ for SiriusXM.
Franz Ferdinand are all set to release their new album ‘Always Ascending’ tomorrow (9th February) and we’ve already heard a short string of tunes from it, with the most recent being ‘Lazy Boy’.
Recently though, they headed to SiriusXM and delivered a cover of Angel’s Olsen ‘Shut Up Kiss Me’. While featuring some harmonies in the chorus and some more languid vocals from Alex Kapranos in the verses, they also stay pretty true to the driving force of the original version.
The band are also set to head out on a UK tour throughout February in support of their new album. Tickets are on sale now.
Listen to their version of ‘Shut Up Kiss Me’ and see their upcoming UK tour dates below.
