Listen: Franz Ferdinand Debut New Material In Ireland

Franz Ferdinand have been away for a fair while now, with their last album being released over three years ago. However, with their live return being marked with a performance in Limerick, Ireland this past weekend, the band are getting ready to headline this year’s Field Day festival, and, in the process, have begun to reveal what they might’ve been working on.

The band debuted four brand new tracks - ‘Right Thoughts’, ‘Brief Encounters’, ‘Fresh Strawberries’ and ‘Trees & Animals’ - and you can check out some live recordings below.









Franz Ferdinand are confirmed for a few festivals this summer, including Primavera Sound and Field Day.
