Havelock unveils new single ‘Help Me Grow’

The new track is “all about when bad habits from a previous relationship can negatively affect a current one.”

Following the release of his debut EP ‘TRY B4U BUY’ earlier this year and last month’s release of ‘Oh My Word’, Havelock is unveiling his brand new single ‘Help Me Grow’.

“This song is all about when bad habits from a previous relationship can negatively affect a current one,” he explains. “We all use our experience from old relationships to dictate how we co-exist with current and future partners. I was going through a rough patch with my girlfriend and I found that it was because of hidden insecurities that both of us had carried forward from our old relationships into our current one.”

Speaking to him earlier this year, he said of the aim of his music: “I don’t want people to overthink my music. Granted sometimes I will write songs with serious subject-matter, but most of the time it’s just me having a laugh with my collaborators. I don’t want to stick with a specific idea that restricts me. There is no rule book when it comes to doing what I do. If it feels good, then it feels good.”
