Listen to Lorde’s single ‘Yellow Flicker Beat’, from The Hunger Games: Mockingjay soundtrack

Lorde was recently announced as curating the soundtrack for the new Hunger Games film, Mockingjay - Part 1, as well as providing the first single from it. Not that single has found its way online, and you can listen to ‘Yellow Flicker Beat’ below.

The third instalment of the film series, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 will be released in cinemas on 21st November - watch the latest trailer here. It was directed by Francis Lawrence, and once again stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth and Woody Harrelson.

“Curating the soundtrack for such a hotly-anticipated film was a challenge, but I jumped at the chance,” said Lorde. “The cast and story are an inspiration for all musicians participating and, as someone with cinematic leanings, being privy to a different creative process has been a unique experience. I think the soundtrack is definitely going to surprise people.”
