Listen: Perfect Pussy Sign To Captured Tracks, Stream ‘Driver’
Debut ‘Say Yes To Love’ arrives a year after the band’s first four-track demo.
Standout act at New York’s CMJ Festival (and not just based on their opinion-splitting name that’s justified as aiming to ‘head off assholes right out of the gate’), Syracuse band Perfect Pussy have announced their debut album on Captured Tracks (DIIV, Mac DeMarco).
‘Say Yes To Love’ is headed up by ‘Driver’, which beings as a relentless, beast-like mission statement before getting even more out of place, detached from normality. Feedback wails act as a second voice almost, behind Meredith Graves’s amped-up chants.
The song appears on a debut album released on 18th March. It follows on from last year’s demo EP ‘I have lost all desire for feeling.’
