Listen: The xx Preview New Album With ‘Open Eyes’ Demo

The xx have unveiled a taster of the work they’ve done so far on their upcoming second album, in the form of new song ‘Open Eyes’.

A demo version of the new track can be streamed below. Posting online, the band wrote: ‘Open Eyes is a demo we did whilst creating our new album, we just wanted to share it with you.’

The xx started work on their new album in November and have been documenting the recording on their website. While to date there is no planned release date, festival appearances suggest we can expect to see the band return in 2012.
