New album ‘Our Love’ is streaming in full.
Earlier today (30th September), Dan Snaith aka Caribou arrived at BBC 6 Music for a special session and an interview with Lauren Laverne.
Discussing his “emotional” record, ‘Our Love’, which comes out on 6th October, he explained how his family and personal values inspired aspects of the record. “This point in my life, all those manifestations together - your children, your family, your friends, my love of music - they’re all complex and textured and nuanced. I wanted to get as much of the texture of my everyday life in the record as possible.”
Caribou performed ‘Can’t Do Without You’ and ‘Our Love’ in full for the session.
Listen from 2 hours, 20 minutes onwards for the interview; 2 hours, 43 minutes for the performance.
Caribou’s new album is streaming in full - listen on UK iTunes now.
He plays London KOKO on 8th October.
