Listen: Woman’s Hour Remix Rainer’s ‘Hope’

Two exciting UK acts combine for an experimental, heart-swelling rework.

Rainer’s

music goes off on so many little adventures, it’s basically a remixer’s dream. Casually Here and Rebekah Raa work up a dramatic formation within each song, where tiny tangents can be picked apart, re-used, manipulated to the point of no return.

Woman’s Hour have been given the exciting task of taking on ‘Hope’, a track from Rainer’s new EP on Kissability.

While Woman’s Hour tend to deliver deftly-applied pop with silence being a vital ingredient, they opt for something a little more all-encompassing in their take of ‘Hope’. It begins as a warm, gooey slush of noise, before Raa’s distinct vocals enter the frame and send the whole thing towards an almost overwhelming endpoint.
