Liverpool Sound City announce 2019 conference

Sound City+ will feature talks from Huw Stephens, Blur’s Dave Rowntree and more.

Liverpool Sound City returns to the city’s Baltic Triangle this May, and they’ve just announced details of their 2019 conference.

Sound City+ will run from Friday 3rd - Sunday 5th May and feature talks from the likes of the BBC’s Huw Stephens and Blur drummer Dave Rowntree.

The conference will launch on the Friday at the British Music Experience and take place across the Baltic Triangle all weekend.

Full of conference, panels and masterclasses, Sound City+ will feature conversations ranging from how the game has changed for women in A&R, the impact of Brexit and more.

Sound City 2019 will be headlined by Loyle Carner, Mabel and Shame, with the likes of The Magic Gang and Blaenavon also heading to Liverpool in May.
