Liverpool Sound City moving back to city centre for 2018
The May 2018 event has also revealed its list of curators.
Liverpool Sound City has revealed that it’s moving back to its city centre home for 2018, after previously moving the site to the city’s docklands. The exact location will be revealed in the coming weeks, but will come to a series of intimate venues around the city.
The festival will take place on the May bank holiday (5th-6th May 2018), and its pretty hefty list of curators have also been revealed.
Glastonbury’s Silver Hayes area lead the list of collaborators, alongside the Kendal Calling and Bluedot festivals, Greg Wilson, and labels including Domino, Moshi Moshi and Hospital Records, many more to be announced.
The festival are also launching Sound City Satellite next Spring, two mini ‘sound cities’ in regional towns in the north west, with locations to be announced soon.
Early bird tickets for Sound City go on sale this Friday (29th September) from 9am.
