London Grammar give update on new album
Band joke to Triple J that LP2 will be a “cross between Pocahontas and Fleetwood Mac”.
UK trio London Grammar have given an update on their new album, joking that new material will be a “cross between Pocahontas and Fleetwood Mac”.
Speaking to Australia station Triple J, the trio claimed: “We’ve got some new music; we’ve got quite a lot actually.”
Guitarist Dan Rothman joked about the Pocahontas comparisons when stating: “[Hannah Reid]’s like ‘I’ve been thinking about the new songs we’ve been doing and what we’re going to be doing when we get home and I really think it’s going to be like a cross between Pocahontas and Fleetwood Mac.’”
Speaking about the band’s last twelve months, Hannah addressed festival cancellations that occurred due to health issues. “I basically was suffering from exhaustion, which I didn’t know was a real thing until it actually happened, but now we just know what our limit is as a band and how to look after each other,” she said.
The band are currently in Australia wrapping up their current world tour.
