London Grammar share Evian Christ remix, cancel European shows
Band cite concerns over Hannah Reid’s vocal fatigue.
London Grammar have been forced to cancel European shows due to concerns over the health of Hannah Reid’s voice.
Appearances at Sziget in Hungary and Lowlands in Holland have been cancelled, with the band saying the following: “In order to maintain Hannah’s voice and all of our well being, we have made the decision to withdraw from some of our upcoming festival performances.”
They’re still set to make appearances at Wilderness Festival this weekend, as well as Ireland’s Electric Picnic, Bestival and Festival Number 6.
As a means of making things up to fans, they’ve unveiled a brand new remix from the unlikely source of Evian Christ. The Kanye collaborator and Tri Angle signing’s lent ‘Strong’ an abrasive sucker punch, with drum and bass percussion rinsing the original.
