Lou Reed and Metallica’s joint album is set for release this October.
The record is set for release on October 31st, with a North American release a day later on November 1st.
The partnership came about following the two acts’ performance together at the 25th anniversary of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2009. The record will comprise of 10 songs composed by Reed with ‘significant arrangement contributions’ from Metallica.
Talking about the album, Reed told Vulture: ‘It’s maybe the best thing done by anyone, ever. It could create another planetary system. I’m not joking, and I’m not being egotistical.’
