Lykke Li has been added to the Latitude line up.
The Swedish songstress will serenade the crowds at this year’s Latitude festival, joining the likes of Glasvegas, Iron & Wine and The Cribs.
The National, Paulo Nutini and Suede are all headlining the 2011 event and will be supported by performances from Eels, Bright Eyes, Bombay Bicycle Club, Isobel Campbell & Mark Lanegan and many more.
Music’s not the only thing on the offering table, however, with readings from the likes of Linton Kwesi Johnson, Esther Freud, Jo Shapcott, Simon Armitage, Sarah Dunant, Dave Gorman and Alexei Sayle, and comedy from Alan Carr, Omid Djalili, Jason Byrne and Never Mind The Buzzcocks.
The event will take place in Suffolk from 14th - 17th July.
Lykke Li will also perform at this year’s End Of The Road festival alongside Joanna Newsom and is currently on a UK tour with a date at Shepherds Bush Empire on Thursday.
In other Lykke news, Lykke has confirmed details of a new single; ‘Sadness Is A Blessing’ will be released on 16th May.
The track is taken from her recently released second album ‘Wounded Rhymes’, which was released last month.
Tickets are on sale now.
