She never learns
Lykke Li announces trio of November dates
The Swede will play London, Manchester and Dublin later this year.
Lykke Li has announced details of a trio of dates for this November.
Following her third studio album ‘I Never Learn’, the Swedish singer-songwriter will kick off at London’s Hammersmith Eventim Apollo, before playing shows at Manchester’s Albert Hall and Vicar Street, Dublin.
The dates in full read:
November
13 Eventim Apollo Hammersmith, London
15 Albert Hall, Manchester
16 Vicar Street, Dublin
Lykke will also release album track ‘Gunshot’ as a single. Speaking about the song, she said: “I wrote Gunshot straight after a meditation and the lyrics just came out of violent words, ‘I’m longing for your poison like a cancer for its prey, I shot an arrow in your heart where you waited in the rain.’ So this is also the moment in a relationship where you’ve fucked up and some things you can never take back. I think that a lot of people can relate to that moment where it’s just gone forever.”
A pre sale for the short tour will be available from lykkeli.com/email from Wednesday 18th June.
