She never learns
Lykke Li brings interpretative dance to her new ‘Gunshot’ video
Swedish star drapes herself around a sun-drenched carpark in a dramatic clip.
Lykke Li has upped the dramatic, powerful stakes on her already a-bit-much new album ‘I Never Learn’, an emotional juggernaut of an LP. She stars as a ghost-faced, cloaked, distressed individual left to rot in the middle of a sun-drenched car park for the new ‘Gunshot’ video. She’s shoved around by gangs, “shot” by a group of kids, stared at contemptuously by people she’s never met. It’s pretty shocking and not all that easy on the eyes.
Hopefully Lykke Li’s forthcoming performance at Latitude Festival is a little easier on the senses. She plays the main stage on Sunday 20th July.
Lykke Li’s ‘I Never Learn’ is out now.
