Lykke Li covers Drake’s ‘Hold On, We’re Going Home’
The video is filmed in black and white, in what seems to be the band’s dressing room.
Lykke Li has shared a video of herself performing an acoustic version of Drake’s ‘Hold On, We’re Going Home’. The clip, which already has received over 50,000 views, comes after Li played the glistening rendition during her biggest ever London show at the Hammersmith Apollo last week (13th November).
The video, which can be seen below, is filmed in black and white, in what seems to be the band’s dressing room as Li’s hand claps and distinct vocal are married perfectly with subtle acoustic guitar riffs, while the remaining three band members provide backing vocals.
Introducing the Drake cover during the live show, Li said: “It’s a song I love,” a sentiment which translates well into her heartfelt version.
Following an extensive run of North American dates, Li is now midway through a string of European shows. The worldwide tour is in support of Li’s third album ‘I Never Learn’, which was released earlier this year on Atlantic.
