MØ returns with ‘Kamikaze’ single

MØ announced her return at the start of the month with new single ‘Kamikaze’, and the comeback single is avaiable to stream online.

The Diplo-produced track was Annie Mac’s Hottest Record on Radio 1 tonight, and is her first material since her massive hit from earlier this year with Major Lazer and Diplo - ‘Lean On’.

Speaking to Annie, Karen Marie Ørsted, said “it’s always such a fun and open process”, regarding working with Diplo. “It’s not all about making a hit record, more that we have fun together.” She also explained ‘Kamikaze’ to be a song about “being restless and wanting to escape the routine and seek the limits.”

MØ is set to play a one-off show at London’s XOYO on the 28th of this month. It’s her first date in the capital since her sold out show at Shepherd’s Bush Empire last year.
