Madonna recordings leak, singer denies it’s a new album
Songs online are claimed to be “unfinished demos stolen long ago”.
Overnight, a set of previously unheard recordings belonging to Madonna leaked online. Thought to be at least rough demos of her new album, the singer publicly addressed the situation by stating that these were “unfinished demos stolen long ago”.
An alleged tracklist features production from Diplo, Avicii and Ryan Tedder, amongst others. It’s believed to be called either ‘Unapologetic Bitch’ or ‘Iconic’.
“Thank you for not listening! Thank you for your loyalty!” said Madonna in an Instagram post to fans, stating that the tracks online were “not ready to be presented to the world.”
Meanwhile, Madonna’s manager Guy Oseary has asked for assistance in trying to find the source of the leak.
Adding proof that these are rough demos, one of the tracks was set to feature Nicki Minaj, although the current online version contains no guest spots.
