Madonna unveils new ‘Ghosttown’ video

Madonna will never escape The Cape Wot Dun It, a slippery customer responsible for this year’s BRITs mishap.

It’s the unlikely star of her new ‘Ghosttown’ video, which comes directed by regular collaborator Jonas Åkerlund, the guy behind ‘American Pie’ and ‘Ray of Light’’s iconic clips.

This new piece resides in the grimy undercurrent of an old city. A bloodied and bruised Madonna trawls a landscape that’s already half-destroyed, and in vigilante gear she decides to hit random objects with a golf club. This is all happening while she’s making weird eye contact with Empire star Terrence Howard.
