Majical Cloudz announce ‘Are You Alone?’ album, share ‘Silver Car Crash’
Devon Welsh and Matthew Otto’s new release is out in October.
Majical Cloudz have announced plans to release a new album, ‘Are You Alone?’.
The follow-up to 2013’s ‘Impersonator’ is due out 16th October via Matador. It’s the latest work from Montreal musician Devon Welsh, who’s this time joined full-time by Matthew Otto.
Leading the album is ‘Silver Car Crash’, an orchestral-sampling piece of minimalism that sees Welsh declaring: “I am always perfect, when I am holding on to you.” It’s an earnest, optimistic glimpse of things to come.
Owen Pallett features on the album, providing viola, piano and drums.
