Majical Cloudz’s Devon Welsh shares solo release, ‘Down the Mountain’

Two months on from announcing the split of Majical Cloudz, Devon Welsh has shared new solo music.

Released under his own name, he’s put out a collection of songs called ‘Down the Mountain’.

Eight tracks are included in the release, “written at different times over the last two years,” he explains.

“I want to release all these songs because I like them a lot and since I am working on new music, my attention will inevitably go to that new music and these songs will be forgotten, and forgotten songs are sad.”

This isn’t an actual album, he states, or an album of “new music”. So don’t get your terms mixed up, ok?

“It’s a collection of older songs that I like and that I feel deserve to be released,” he says.
