Marina and the Diamonds is back with new album news

It’s been a while since we’ve heard new music from Marina Diamandis. But it turns out the singer has been hard at work on the follow up to her last studio album, 2015’s ‘Froot’.

In a note posted to Twitter last week, Marina acknowledged her absence, promising that waiting for new music will be “worth the wait”. Now in a new interview with Abbey Road Studios, the singer has given us further news on album number four.

“[It’s progressing] really really well…I took a break and then I have been writing ever since. I’ve kind of been writing more than I ever have before, which is unexpected because I thought that I was not going to do this anymore, for a while.”

She also added that she’s been listening to the new Lykke Li and Kanye West albums lately and shared her early memories of the studio.
