Mark Ronson streams new album ‘Uptown Special’ in full

Featuring the almighty ‘Uptown Funk’, listen to the album ahead of next week’s release

Still riding high with his chart dominating ‘Uptown Funk’, - which yesterday was confirmed as a Number One single for the fourth week running - Mark Ronson has shared his new album online today, which is streaming a week ahead of its official release. ‘Uptown Special’, the producer’s fourth album, is out January 19th in the UK and on the 13th in the US.

Inspired mainly by writer Michael Chabon, who sent lyrics for the album to Ronson, the album features guest verses from Kevin Parker, as well as Mystikal, Stevie Wonder and Jeff Bhaskar. Alongside the album’s first single ‘Uptown Funk’, featuring Bruno Mars, ‘Daffodils’ - which features Tame Impala frontman Parker - was released as the album’s second lead track, prior to the new year.

Stream ‘Uptown Special’ via The Guardian’s website, alongside a track by track guide by Ronson.
